This Privacy Policy explains how GRE Development LTD (“GRE Development,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use Habitix, our iPhone/iPad app, Apple Watch app, widgets, and related services (collectively, the “App”).
Habitix is designed to keep your habit data primarily on your devices. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not operate a Habitix cloud account that stores your habits on our servers.
1. Who we are

2. Who this policy applies to
This policy applies to people who download, install, or use Habitix on Apple platforms. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.
3. Information we process
Depending on how you use Habitix, the App may process:
- Habit and progress data you enter — habit names, descriptions, icons, colors, schedules, reminder preferences, completion logs, streaks, challenges, and related settings.
- Device and system permissions you grant — for example, permission to send local notifications so Habitix can remind you about habits.
- Purchase and subscription status — processed by Apple through StoreKit / App Store billing when you start a trial, subscribe, restore purchases, or manage subscriptions.
- On-device preferences — such as onboarding answers, display preferences (for example grid style or layout), and similar settings. These preferences sync via your Apple iCloud account when iCloud is enabled (see below).
Habitix does not ask for your email address, phone number, or social-network login to use the core App. If you contact us by email, we will receive whatever information you include in that message.
4. Where your data lives
- On your Apple devices. Habit, completion, and challenge data are stored locally using Apple frameworks (including SwiftData).
- iCloud / CloudKit (your Apple ID). When you are signed into iCloud on the device, Habitix automatically syncs your habits, completion logs, challenge progress, and onboarding / settings preferences through Apple’s private CloudKit database and iCloud Key-Value Store associated with your Apple ID. This lets you restore data after reinstalling Habitix and use the same data on your other iPhone or iPad (including an iPad app running on Apple silicon Mac). Habitix does not operate a separate Habitix cloud account.
- App Group storage on your devices. Habitix may share a limited snapshot of habit progress with Habitix widgets and, if installed, the Habitix Apple Watch app via Apple’s App Group and Watch Connectivity mechanisms.
- Apple services. Purchases, subscriptions, restorations, and related receipts are handled by Apple StoreKit / App Store. Subscription status is not synced through Habitix’s iCloud preferences — each device verifies Pro access with Apple. We do not receive your full payment card details.
If iCloud is turned off or unavailable, Habitix continues to work with on-device storage only. Device-level iCloud Backup may also include App data according to your Apple ID and device settings; that processing is governed by Apple’s privacy policy and your Apple settings.
5. How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- Provide Habitix features (tracking, reminders, streaks, challenges, widgets, Watch companion, insights) and sync your data across your Apple devices via iCloud when enabled.
- Process subscriptions and restore purchases through Apple.
- Improve reliability and fix bugs (for example, crash diagnostics if you choose to share them with Apple/developers).
- Respond to support requests you send us.
- Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Use.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your habit history to build advertising profiles for third-party ads inside Habitix.
6. Notifications
If you enable reminders, Habitix schedules local notifications on your device. Notification content may include habit names or descriptions you provided. You can disable notifications in iOS Settings or inside Habitix. Deleting or deactivating a habit cancels that habit’s pending Habitix reminder schedules.
7. Analytics and advertising measurement
Habitix’s in-app “Insights” screens summarize your own habit data on device.
We use Google Firebase Analytics (which reports into Google Analytics) to understand app usage and to measure the effectiveness of our marketing — for example app opens, onboarding completion, paywall views, subscription outcomes, and anonymous habit-interaction events (such as that a habit was created or logged, without sending habit names or personal notes).
To support Google Ads and similar app-install / conversion campaigns, we may collect the device’s advertising identifier (IDFA) when you grant permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt. We also use Apple’s privacy-preserving SKAdNetwork attribution where available (including when tracking permission is declined). These signals help us understand which ads led to installs and in-app conversions; they are not used to read your habit names or notes.
We do not show third-party display ads inside Habitix today, and we do not use your habit history to build advertising profiles for third-party ads inside the App. You can change tracking permission anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Apple may also provide aggregated, privacy-preserving developer analytics (for example App Store analytics or crash reports) according to your device and App Store settings.
8. Sharing of information
We share information only in these limited ways:
- With Apple — as required to deliver App Store distribution, StoreKit purchases, notifications, widgets, Watch sync, and iCloud / CloudKit data sync for your Apple ID.
- With service providers — we use Google Firebase / Google Analytics / Google Ads measurement tools to process product-analytics and advertising-attribution events on our behalf, and may use other providers under contract (for example email support tooling). We will update this policy if sharing changes in a material way.
- For legal reasons — if required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
- Business transfers — if GRE Development LTD is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, information may transfer as part of that transaction subject to this policy or successor notice.
9. Data retention and deletion
Because habit data is stored on your devices, deleting the Habitix app (and related Watch app / widgets data, as applicable) generally removes that local Habitix data from the device, subject to any device backups you keep.
You can also delete individual habits inside the App, which removes that habit’s history in Habitix and cancels its pending reminders.
Subscription records remain with Apple according to Apple’s retention practices. Managing or canceling a subscription is done through your Apple ID subscription settings.
10. Children’s privacy
Habitix is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
11. International users
Habitix is distributed through the Apple App Store. Processing happens primarily on your devices and through Apple’s infrastructure. If you use Habitix outside your home country, your information may be processed in the locations where you and Apple operate.
12. Your privacy choices
- Control notification permissions in iOS Settings.
- Control App Tracking (IDFA) in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Control iCloud for Habitix in iOS Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud (sign out or disable iCloud to stop CloudKit / Key-Value sync; local data may remain on the device).
- Delete habits or uninstall Habitix to remove on-device Habitix data (iCloud copies may remain until removed via your Apple ID / iCloud data controls, subject to Apple’s retention).
- Manage subscriptions and payment methods in Apple ID → Subscriptions.
- Review Apple’s privacy controls for analytics, tracking, and App Store preferences on your device.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version at this URL and revise the “Last updated” date. Continued use of Habitix after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy, except where applicable law requires additional consent.
