Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes what data Nexus Chart AI collects, how
that data is collected, how it is used, and which third parties it may
be shared with.
1. Data We Collect
When you use the app, we may collect and process the following data:
-
Chart images. Photos or screenshots of financial
charts that you capture with the in-app camera or select from your
photo library for analysis.
-
Trading preferences. Answers you provide in the
onboarding survey: your trading experience level, the markets you
trade, your trading style, and your preferred analysis detail. These
answers are used to personalise the AI analysis output.
-
Anonymous device / installation identifiers.
Non-personal identifiers generated by your device or the analytics
SDK. These are used for server-side rate-limiting, app functionality,
and analytics.
-
Usage and product interaction data. Events such as
screen views, feature usage, onboarding steps, analysis outcomes, and
subscription-related actions (for example purchase started, completed,
cancelled, or restored).
-
Purchase / subscription status. Whether you have an
active Premium subscription and related plan type, used to unlock
features and measure subscription performance. We do
not collect your full payment card details; billing
is handled by Apple App Store or Google Play.
-
Advertising identifier (IDFA), when permitted. On
iOS, if you allow tracking via Apple’s App Tracking Transparency
prompt, we may access the device advertising identifier to measure
the performance of our own Google Ads campaigns. If you decline, we
do not use the IDFA for that purpose.
We do not collect your name, email address, phone
number, precise location, contact list, or other personal contact
details through the app.
2. How We Collect This Data
-
Chart images are collected when you capture a photo in the in-app
camera or choose an image from your photo library for analysis.
-
Trading preferences are collected during the onboarding survey and
stored locally on your device until you use the analysis feature.
-
Device / installation identifiers and usage events are collected
automatically by the app and by Google Firebase Analytics while you
use the product.
-
Subscription status is determined from App Store / Google Play
purchase receipts and related in-app purchase APIs.
-
The advertising identifier is accessed only after you grant
permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt
(iOS).
3. How We Use Your Data
-
Chart images and trading preferences are transmitted to our AI
analysis service to generate the chart analysis results displayed to
you in the app.
-
Chart images may be stored on our servers so you can view your
analysis history within the app.
-
Anonymous device identifiers are used for rate-limiting on our
servers to ensure fair service usage.
-
Usage, product interaction, and subscription events are used to
understand how the app is used, improve features, debug issues, and
measure product performance through Google Firebase Analytics /
Google Analytics.
-
When you allow tracking on iOS, advertising identifiers and related
conversion events may be used to measure and optimize our own Google
Ads campaigns (for example installs and subscriptions). We do not
use this data to serve third-party ads inside the app.
4. Third-Party Data Sharing
Your chart images and trading preferences are sent to
Nexus Chart AI’s AI analysis service, operated by gre-dev
(gredev.io). This service processes your data using AI models to produce the chart
analysis shown to you. It acts as a data processor on our behalf and is
contractually obligated to:
-
Process your data only for the purpose of providing chart analysis to
Nexus Chart AI.
-
Apply security and data-protection measures equivalent to or greater
than those described in this policy.
- Not sell or share your data with any other third party.
We also use Google Firebase Analytics (and related
Google measurement services) to collect usage and conversion analytics.
When you allow App Tracking Transparency on iOS, limited advertising
identifier data may be shared with Google for measuring our Google Ads
performance. Apple and Google may process purchase/receipt information
as part of their store and billing platforms.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share chart images with
advertisers. We may disclose data where required by law.
5. User Consent
Before any chart data is transmitted to our AI analysis service for the
first time, the app displays a consent screen that explains what data
will be sent and who will receive it. Your explicit consent is required
before chart analysis data leaves your device for that service.
On iOS, a separate App Tracking Transparency prompt may ask whether you
allow use of the advertising identifier for ad measurement. You can
change this later in your device settings under
Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
You can delete stored analysis history and related server-side analysis
data from Settings → Delete Analysis Data in the app.
Declining AI analysis consent means you will not be able to use the AI
chart analysis features.
6. Data Security
- All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections.
-
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect
data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.
7. Data Retention
-
Chart images stored for your history are retained until you delete
them within the app or delete your data from Settings.
-
Survey answers are stored locally on your device and are included with
analysis requests while you use the feature.
-
Analytics and advertising measurement data retained by Google are
subject to Google’s retention practices for Firebase Analytics /
Google Ads.
8. Children’s Privacy
Nexus Chart AI is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do
not knowingly collect data from children.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be
reflected with a revised date below. Continued use of the app after an
update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
10. Contact Us
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or your data, please
